How can Gatomon stay in her Champion level?

Gatomon can stay at a champion level because her tail ring gives her more power. Also, since she was Myotismon’s “servant” essentially, she gained a lot of stamina and strength that way, making her more powerful. “Unlike the rest of the DigiDestined Digimon, the Champion form is the most common form for Gatomon, as she is the only one able to maintain that level regularly. This is due to the fact she is the only partner Digimon who achieved Champion form prior to meeting her partner, in other words, naturally and without any help from a Digivice. For the other Digimon, Champion form is much harder to constantly maintain.”

Who were the original Digidestined that Gennai mentioned in season one?

It is never specified. Theories that we’ve come up with at FYDD include them being the Frontier kids, or that Cody’s dad and Matt’s dad were among them. 

How was Tai able to get to the Digiworld in the first episode of season 2?

We can’t know for sure, but the two theories we came up with are that:

  • The gate was open for whatever reason and regular Digivices can get the kids to the Digiworld, but only D3s can open a gate. 
  • Tai’s bond with Agumon was so strong that it allowed him to get to the Digiworld. This happened before in Our War Game (Digimon: The Movie pt II) when they were fighting Diaboromon and through the bond they shared with their respective partners: Matt and Tai were turned into Digital data and could go to their Digimon’s aid that way.

What’s up with Ryo and why is he in 02 AND Tamers?

He’s originally from the Digimon Adventure world and was Ken’s former DNA partner. Ken and Ryo fight between 01 and 02 so Millenniummon sent Ryo to the Tamer’s Digiworld in the aftermath of his defeat. Click HERE for more info.
