"What does “Frontier” mean to you, Kamiya-san?"
Kamiya Hiroshi (Kouji): After being a voice actor for more than 10 years, the year I was involved in “Frontier” was the best fun I’d ever had. I’d often go out to eat dinner with the whole cast, and as a series it was something that I felt was really worth doing. I did feel frustrated about how there were many things I couldn’t do, but I got an incredible amount of feedback. That’s why this series is my starting point. It’s very important to me, and I will never forget it for the rest of my life. If I ever have children, it’s a show that I would definitely want to show to them.

"What did you wish to tell the viewers, through this series?"
Toshiko Fujita (Taichi): Each of the children had a specialty, but they also had little faults about them. So they compensate for that with their friends’ strengths. There’s a constant theme on how you can’t do everything on your own, but with help from your friends, you can, and with help from you, your friends can as well. For instance, the belief between Taichi and Agumon. Having belief between two humans is difficult as it is, but Taichi and Agumon never distrusted each other, no matter what happened. Having a strong relationship like that is really lovely. I’d like it if the viewers felt the same. If they can find a friend in a person like that, it would be even more wonderful. You hardly come across a friend like that, and I think Taichi has that in Agumon.
Chika Sakamoto (Agumon): That was very coherent. A terrific speech!
Toshiko Fujita (Taichi): I kind of want my own Digimon. That would be nice.
Chika Sakamoto (Agumon): Yeah. You’ll have one, too, some day, I’m sure of it.
